Quick Comparison of 3 Headphones: Sony SBH80, Plantronics Backbeat Go 2, Jaybird Gear BlueBuds X

These three Headphones are different brands, are produced at different times, but all of them are targeting to customers Bluetooth headset.

Comparation of 3 Headphones: Sony SBH80, Plantronics Backbeat Go 2, Jaybird Gear BlueBuds X

Three of headphones that you see above can be wearing a ring on the back side, the controls, are located on the right hand side of you, so if you are left handed, you will likely find it difficult to control it.

Sony Headphones is difficult for reverse wearing because there is a battery and shake at back in design, the Plantronics Headphones has Left-Right marked (RL). Only Jaybird Headphones is difficult to distinguish Left or Right side, that’s why these headphones has one-point minus.

About the “beauty” of the product, I vote number one for Sony headphones, followed by Plantronics, finally is Jaybirds (because the offense is not marked left and right, but, in fact, it is equivalent to the Backbeat Go 2) However, the Sony product has a defect point (according to my opinion), that’s designed to make it a wireless headset headphone palm users face when they do not wear the collared one, when you wear a collared then this problem no longer occurs.

The Cluster of their headphones controls are very similar, including the volume down/up button and receive, reject calls. Sony Headphones has its own toggle button, The two others; the receive calling button is the on/off button.

With iOS, the controls of Backbeat and Bluebirds X are same for iPhone’s Headphones (ie the volume up button can search through all Next). The Sony Headphone designed is not like that, because it has one more module to on the other side to manage music.

Headphones: Sony SBH80 features

The Sony Headphones control is working perfect on iPhone, and on Android, as well.

The power button and charging port of Sony Headphones located at main body ( that behind your neck ). This main body has the vibrate function; incoming calls notice, this feature is better than other Headphones.

Headphones: Plantronics Backbeat Go 2 features

The charging ports of Jaybird and Plantronics are located on a right side of Headphones, just open the cover and plug the Micro USB.

To compare the aspects of these three Bluetooth Headphones, Jaybird and Plantronics are brothers; only Sony Headphones is a different product, it remind us to Tone 730 of LG.

Both of them has same designs while being together.

That flat line may be the learning of Plantronics from Jaybird.

Based on my experiences, this Headphones is good enough, it’s easy to pair to cell phones that have NFC, the pairing to iPhone 5 is fast. I used to listen to music in the morning, do receive and calling in a day, the battery is more than 2 days, it’s satisfy the basic requirements.

After connecting to smartphone, the sound quality is good, all of the play, stop, down/up volume is running perfectly. The bass is enough to hear, however, for some songs; there is high slightly darkened. The silicone is soft, not pain for ears, the feeling is comfortable.

Callers can not let I know am utilizing a Bluetooth. THIS IS IT. The engineering at long last is here to make these reasonable for ordinary utilization. Just thing that might idealize this might be the expansion of a battery status symbol on the phone which I trust will be included with a firmware upgrade. Sony hit it out of the ballpark with this one.

Generally, I feel satisfy with Sony SBH-80

It is a headphone very well supported iDevices, iPhone, iPod touch displays full battery level as other Plantronics headsets. I learned on its website about the parameters of headphones, but they just say Bluetooth, not anymore. I’m pretty sure this is Bluetooth 3.0. These Headphones is supporting connection between 2 different devices.

This headset is covered by something like Nano that helps protecting it from sweating while you are doing sport, however, it’s not waterproofing.

These Headphones are easy to connect via Bluetooth, however, this is not aptX supporting, but the quality is good, the sound is real and balance between high and mid voice. Generally, if you are not so much professional on sound quality, this Headphones is quite satisfied for customers.

The Battery long life is missing part of these Headphones, if you listen to music and use for conversations, this battery is used only for about 4 hours, it’s short for demands daily.

These Headphones is standing for second position of their Headphones, because it’s price is half cheaper than the price of third one that you are going to see below, but the quality sound is almost same up to 95-96%.
